Hello,
Graduated in 2000, working at Nike since 2003, mainly in Operations (Customer Service, Sports Marketing, Demand Planning), i'm now responsible for planning the Replenishment Nike business within EMEA. 1/2 of my team is forecasting our products needs for the coming 16 months (based on history, trends, market insights), the other 1/2 places the buys at the factories, based on our forecasts. Idea is to have enough, not too much (if not enough, we lose sales, if too much, high inventory costs). Exciting area to work in, you only know if you were right when bookings come in.
