Hello,
I am an associate professor in the School of Computer Science & Mathematics at Kingston University, London.
As an associate professor:
- I teach graduate, postgraduate and research students
- I conduct research in two areas - computer vision and bioinformatics - for which I develop novel pattern recognition algorithms
- I contribute to the University's research strategy.
I hold an MScEng from ICPI (now CPE), an MSc and a PhD in Computing Science from the University of St-Etienne (France, 1997). I am also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
After my PhD, I joined the Department of Computing Science of the University of Glasgow, where I worked as a researcher for 7 years. Then, I started my career as a lecturer at Kingston University, London.
