After my degree I went for a new challenge in Switzerland where I started my career as a consultant and working in aeronautical sector in Neuchatel area. I moved to Zurich and worked in the radio branch where I developed new skills due to language barrier and other mentalities. After 6 years in the same company, I got a good opportunity to work for the Paul Scherrer Institute which is a top notch research center, now it’s been about two years that I have been developing firmware on FPGA platform there.
I am currently working for the renewal of digital low level RF system for our proton machine. I am dealing with specifications from accelerator experts to achieve digital high-speed signal processing to contain the RF field within the accelerating cavity.
When I was working in the broadcast industry, my company was also building high voltage power supply for research centers and I was thinking that one day I would like to be part of such project.
