Présentation de Loïc
Hi,
As a reliability engineer, my role is to apply tools and procedures to ensure that a product meets its reliability requirements, under its use environment, for the duration of its lifetime.
This broad primary role can be divided into three main roles: predictive reliability, experimental reliability and operational reliability.
Here are the tasks in predictive reliability:
• design-for-reliability tools and methods
o functional analysis
o NDL (New Design List)
o PFRA (Preliminary Functional Risk Analysis)
o analysis Block Diagram
o FTA (Fault Tree Analysis)
o DFMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
o C2QP (Critical-To-Quality Parameters)
• reliability prediction based on standards.
Here are the experimental reliability tasks:
• defining relevant tests to simulate customer use conditions and demonstrate the product reliability
o building customer usage profiles
o defining and carrying out ALT (Accelerated Life Testing)
o defining and carrying out HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing)
o size testing plan (reliasoft tools), which means determining the number of units to be tested and the test duration.
For the operational reliability, I take into account field data collecting: SAP/FRACAS/…
My education isn't "normal". I did professional formation to finish with a Master degree in Electrical Engineering & Industrial Informatic.
Since my internship in my Master, I am working in test domain.
