Hello, I am the Chief of the Commercial Law Unit of the City's Law Department which is comprised of three divisions and 25 attorneys (19) and legal assistants (6). The unit handles the legal work for over $2 billion in commercial transactions for the City each year. In my current position, I am responsible for the following duties, among others: Managing the work of the attorneys and legal assistants in the unit, Ensuring proper training and support for the unit's staff, Advising City officials and department personnel on a myriad of legal issues, Handling various contracts as attorney of record, Handling various administrative duties. Serving as issuer's counsel on City municipal finance transactions. I was recruited by a former member of the Law Department's Executive Committee.
