Présentation de Gareth

Hi I am an Applications scientist at ThermoFIsher Scientific. I help clients with use of GC and GC/MS. My main duties involve working with clients and helping them use our instrumentation for their applications. After my Ph.D. in mass spectrometry at the University Paris VI I did a postdoc in the USA in the design and development of mass spectrometry instrumentation. I then went onto the Stanford Research Institute in California where I became a Senior Research Scientist. After SRI I went to Smiths Detection as a Senior Research Scientist and developed a hand portable GC/MS which is used by military and first responders. When my research project was completed I transferred to ThermoFisher Scientific where I help train clients to use GC and GC/MS for their applications.
