    Hi there,

    I am a Director of Sales and Marketing for luxury hotels

    I am currently working for a resort in Sardinia (Italy) composed of two 5-star properties (branded Hilton) and a 4-star hotel (not branded yet).

    My main duties are:

    – sell the hotel for which I work to the right client at the right price

    – promotions

    – communication

    – distribution on the right channels

    – analyze reports and forecasts

    – set up and modify the budget if needed

    – report to the General Manager

    – contracts with TO and other stakeholders

    – motivate the S&M team and drive our efforts to reach our targets

    – entertain good relationships with clients and suppliers

    – contribute to keeping a high brand reputation

    I have always worked in the tourism industry and 10 years ago I joined the luxury hotels sector.

    I used to say that hotels have chosen me because I did not know I belonged to hotels until I worked in one!
