Hi there! I’m a young professional working for a multinational company in the heart of the EU bubble in Brussels, with experience in corporate communications for a range of different policy sectors.
I’m currently working in-house for a major multinational diversified engineering company, which boasts five unique business divisions operating across the globe. I am responsible for our corporate affairs work in Europe, Middle East and Africa, which primarily means engaging with politicians in the EU, UN and in country to promote our company and gain important policy and funding wins for our business. I’m covering policy topics including security & defence, health, digital and energy/climate change.
I started in communications, working as a freelance journalist in London before completing a Masters in Political Strategy and Communication at the Brussels School of International Studies. I completed a traineeship with the EU before working for three and a half years within a consultancy firm, supporting international clients on a range of sustainability topics including energy, circular economy and transport. I moved in-house to my current firm in 2020.
I’d be delighted to talk about my current role and my professional journey to any prospective professional looking to work in the EU bubble or who is interested in what the life of a lobbyist actually means. Please feel free to message me – I look forward to helping you!
