Présentation de Yannick

Hello, My name is Yannick Schwarz. I graduated from the Cesemed Program at Euromed Marseille, in 2012. The Cesemed program consisted in spending 2 years in Marseille, France, and 2 years abroad. This was my first real chance to travel internationally for something else than vacation, and truly opened my mind to the opportunities and experiences available in the world. As part of the Cesemed program, I spent 1 full year studying at the University of Westminster, in London, 1 semester at Portland State University on Oregon, USA, and finally 6 months as an intern in New York at a start up company. These last two experiences truly shaped my life: my time at Portland State University allowed me to meet the person with whom I plan on spending the rest of my life, and my intern position in NY became my first true full time job, straight after graduation. As of September 2019, I work at the Pokemon Company International (TPCi). TPCi represents the Pokemon Brand in the North and South America, Europe, and other regions not covered by TPC (parent company, based in Japan and covering Japan, China and Singapour). I joined the company as a Sr. Digital Optimization Analyst. In this role, I implemented new analytics platforms, a testing & personalization tool, and supported the transition to a new ecommerce platform (PokemonCenter.com). My role consisted in understanding our customers and improving their experience test and personalization. In 2021, I was promoted to a Planning & Optimization Manager role. This role focuses on operational planning and forecasting, with the goal to optimize our customer facing operations to contribute to an unmatched customer experience and meet our strategic goals. Previously, I have worked at GameStop (largest video game retailer in the world, parent company of Micromania, in France) and TXU Energy, the largest integrated retail & generation company in the Texas. For both GameStop and TXU, I have been part of the Online Marketing team and have lead the A/B testing & personalization efforts. My approach to testing is to consider it as an integral part of the digital optimization process. A successful A/B testing approach helps drive a desire for continuous improvement and helps augment the customer experience through tested, targeted and optimized personalization. I joined MyJobGlasses in 2018 and look forward to meeting young professionals or students that are looking for a general perspective on international opportunities or specific helps and advice regarding the american work environment or my field of expertise. Please feel free to contact me if you want to know more about my job. Thank you, Yannick
