Michael Ohana is a French entrepreneur and graduate of ESSEC Business School. He founded AlumnEye in 2012, a firm recognized for its expertise in identifying and developing talent for careers in Investment Banking and Private Equity. In 2017, he launched AE SEARCH, an executive search boutique advising leading Private Equity funds, Venture Capital firms, family offices, and portfolio companies on senior leadership recruitment. Known for his deep understanding of the investment ecosystem and his trusted relationships across Europe’s financial community, Michael plays an active role in shaping leadership teams and long-term talent strategies. He also co-founded a YCombinator-backed startup in 2016 and is an active business angel, with investments in dozens of technology companies across Europe and the United States. In addition, he hosts Big Deal, a podcast featuring candid conversations with dealmakers — from private equity and venture capital investors to entrepreneurs and advisors — offering insights into the people and stories behind major transactions.
