Hello, my name is Aleksandra. I’m currently working with Ascentia, a hybrid biotech/CRO startup operating in the preclinical, cosmetic, and agrifood space, where I serve as Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer (CSBDO). As a CSBDO, my days balance scientific leadership with strategic business growth. I oversee ongoing research or service projects, align teams on priorities, and ensure scientific quality. At the same time, I engage with partners and clients, explore new collaborations, and shape commercial strategies. Much of my work involves translating complex science into clear opportunities that drive the company forward. Biotech engineer often wearing many hats, with a unique knack for bridging science, IT, and business development - turning complex research into global opportunities and actionable strategies. My areas of expertise span biotechnology, scientific research, and innovation-driven business. I have hands-on experience in R&D, CRO operations, manufacturing environments, and scientific quality systems. I also specialize in building collaborations across life and material sciences, scientific informatics, and the biotech industry. In addition, I bring leadership experience in guiding multidisciplinary teams, shaping scientific direction, and driving strategic planning in a fast-growing international environment.
