Hello, I am an Onshore Electrical Superintendent & Marine Engineer Instructor. So far, I have : -Managed electrical modifications, upgrade, fault finding, for 8 Drillships (6th & 7th generation) and 2 semi-submersible rigs (5th generation), on following equipment but not limited to: • Kongsberg Dynamic Positioning system. • HiPAP acoustic system. • Kongsberg K-Chief, K-Bridge & K-Thrust. • F&G / ESD Systems. • NOV Drilling Control systems. -Liaised with DNV for Fire & Gas and ESD cause & effect modifications. -Successfully implemented Fire & Gas maintenance plan as per IEC standards. -Achieved standardization of EEX register for the entire fleet. I also work with engineering department to provide smart solution for: • Eirik Raude winterization project: Scope of work. Liaise with 3rd companies • Harsh Environment new build specifications. The other missions of my job are : -Review technical documentation and commissioning procedures new Drillships. -Fleet spares specifications & follow up. -3rd Party vendor contact. -Support offshore team during DP FMEA. Electrical Personnel hiring interview & competency assessment. -Identify and developed specific competence requirement for electrical department. -Develop and deliver courses: • K-Chief 700 step 1 (certified Kongsberg instructor). • Power management lesson learn (recognized by The Nautical Institute). • High voltage course - management level - STCW” (recognized by Marshall Island). • TapRoot.
