Hi, I'm Sorin, and I work as a Channel Manager for TachoSafe, a Romanian IT company which produces and sells tachograph download equipment and develops tachograph data analysis software. As the Channel Manager for Europe & UK at TachoSafe, I am responsible for developing and executing channel strategies that align with TachoSafe’s growth objectives. My role involves identifying and onboarding new partners, supporting existing channels, and ensuring the delivery of high-value solutions to our customers. I work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to tailor offerings that meet regional needs and ensure compliance with local regulations. Goals & Vision: Strengthen TachoSafe’s presence in key European and UK markets. Build a robust network of channel partners and resellers. Drive revenue growth through innovative solutions and strategic collaborations. Enhance customer experience by providing seamless, compliant digital tachograph management My previous experience was as a Business Development Manager at Groupe BBL Romania-Cluj-Napoca branch, a part of the French group BBL Transport. The company specialises in the logistics sector. My main duties are: - developing the client's database from France and the Transylvania area - generating sales on logistic services - managing the Cluj-Napoca office. I entered logistics 7-8 years ago, working for a Dutch transport company based in Cluj-Napoca. I've developed a network of clients mainly based in France. Further on, given the experience gained by working on the French logistics market, I have started a new project at EGETRA Romania (part of the French group EGETRA), by opening a new branch in Cluj-Napoca. Further on, after the acquisition of the Group EGETRA by BBL Transport, I continued developing the small branch by acquiring new clients and developing the supplier's network. After finishing my studies and having different jobs, everything changed when I realised that if I mix my economics basis (sales) with the foreign languages I currently speak, I have a good profile for international sales and/or multi-cultural working environments. I have a good experience in logistics at the European Level, especially in the relation between France - Eastern European Countries. Lately, I have been developing the indirect sales expertise while managing a network of 60 active partners all over Europe as a Channel Manager for TachoSafe.
