Hello, I am a life Sciences executive having moved from Academia to Biotech to Pharma and now venture investment. I work by myself in close connexion with the rest of the Seventure team, in Paris and across Europe. My duties are to (i) find and evaluate companies in our field of Life Science investment, (ii) discuss them with the team and shortlist some for investment, (iii) perform due diligence and write an investment memo, (iv) negotiate terms and investment contrats with legal support, (v) sit on Boards of Directors and negotiate follow-on transactions (additional investment, liquidation/exit of the company) My meandering through various positions of responsibility in the Life Sciences / Pharma / Biotech sector, as well as my personal network, has led me to an interest in the financing of biotech companies after my 3-year stint as a biotech CEO. I knew and trusted the CEO of Seventure who needed an extra investment manager at the time, so it happened quite naturally and without a lot of planning! And then 7 years later, hacing had a first experience in investment, I got a job as Managing Partner for a new global health fund: Cathay Health.
