Présentation de Regis

Hello, I consider myself first as an engineer working in this amazing world of optics and photonics. But I had all kind of positions to serve companies in different ways. I was expert, design engineer, technical leader, R&D team manager. I had the chance to contribute to many industries of photonics’ in three continents. Today, I am managing the photonics design and development group for the photonics division of Bertin Technologies. I am designing and developing optronics and photonics systems for space, big science and defense applications. The photonics design group is today 12 people strong and work on different projects with, each time, a strong connection with the other departments. I share my time between technical tasks to understand the physics behind the products we are working on and management to plan and improve the team throughput. In all my career moves, the purpose was to learn more about how optics and photonics can help tackling our world challenges. The companies I joined works on telecoms, consumer electronics, micro-optics, LiDAR, laser, metrology, space, big sciences and more. Feel free to contact me if you want to know more about my job Regis
