Hello, I have been working as a geologist in the gold industry for more than 10 years in . I had the opportunity to work as an exploration geologist, near pit exploration geologist, resource geologist or production geologist at different level of responsibilities. My job is to find economic resources and mine the existing reserves to produce gold. I manage a team of ~80 people working on the field and/or at the office. My crew and I work in remote areas. I have divided my department in 3 main areas of activities: - the first one is dedicated to the mapping, the drilling and the sampling. The objective is to increase the confidence of our deposit and to acquire some useful information to estimate properly the resources/reserves for our mine and guide our production. -the second one looks after our database, the geological modeling and the resource/reserve estimations. - the third one takes care of mining the ore Being geologist was always my wish since I'm a child.
