Présentation de Jeremie

Hello, I am an astronomer at IRAM, an international research institute for radio astronomy located in France. I am the deputy station manager of NOEMA, one of the 2 observatories equipped and operated by IRAM. My main duties are: - Managing the operating team of NOEMA observatory to ensure the quality of the observed data and the efficiency of the operation - Doing science research about comets and other solar system objects, my field of expertise. I studied Physics at the university and defended my PhD in Astrophysics at Observatoire de Paris in 2007. Then I spent more than 10 years working on data reduction, quality assessment, software development, and user training for the 2 most powerful radio interferometers on Earth: 8 years at IRAM for the Northern Extended Millimetre Array and 3 years for the Atacama Large Millimetre Array in the framework of a European Southern Observatory research fellowship. In parallel I The technical and scientific expertise I got allowed me to play a bigger role in the operation of IRAM/NOEMA Observatory as deputy station manager. Feel free to contact me if you want to know more about my job Jeremie
