Hello, I oversee the monitoring and evaluation on a portfolio of activities aimed at increasing quality of tuberculosis (TB) data to improve evidence-based decision making with the goal of eliminating TB in the 30 countries with the highest TB burden. - Monitor progress on activities in our portfolio - Coordinate team calls to facilitate collaboration and feedback - Design toolkits, guidance documents, and other manuals/standard operating procedures for global or country/context-specific use - Polish deliverables before submission to donors I was involved in co-curricular and extra-curricular work in global health and human rights in Chicago, Peru, and Morocco during my undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago where I earned a degree in the history of science and medicine (focus on medical anthropology, medical ethics, and human rights). I had internships working in global health with government agencies, civil society organizations, and grassroots organizations. I then enrolled in a Master in Public Health degree program at the Harvard School of Public Health, where I continued working on infectious diseases (mostly HIV/AIDS and TB) in Costa Rica, Brazil, and Ethiopia (both private and public sector work) alongside my graduate studies and teaching jobs in human rights. Since graduating from Harvard, I have worked on a number of projects at John Snow, Inc. (JSI) on health systems strengthening, data quality and use, TB, maternal and child health, and digital health.
