Présentation de Guillaume

Hello everyone, My name is Guillaume. I am 32 years old and I consider myself an international citizen after living in more than seven countries within four different continents. I am currently a Strategic Mission Sourcing Director in L’Oréal. However, before getting there, let me share with you my journey. After two internships in Total in Paris (Trade Marketing department), Nestlé in Barcelona (Indirect Sourcing Department) and a Master Degree in Sourcing in Bordeaux (MAI), I joined Reckitt in Dubai, where I spent 4 years as a Packaging Buyer for Middle East & North Africa region. Following my Reckitt experience, in January 2016, I joined this amazing company: L’Oréal, as a Contract Manufacturing Coordinator for Hispanic Zone based in Mexico. Two years later, I took over the responsibility as a manager, covering the scope of Packaging & Contract Manufacturing. Then, two years later, I took over the responsability of Direct Sourcing Director for Hispanic Zone (from Mexico to Argentina excluding Brasil), with the scope of sourcing for Packaging Materials, Raw Materials and Contract Manufacturers. Each day is a new challenge, but in summary, our main responsibilities would be: - Improving L’Oréal’s gross margin via Operations projects - Managing supplier relationships - Ensuring the optimal supplier pool, that will contribute to our growth - Collaborating with development, marketing teams and operation teams in order to deliver our launches - Be the direct support to our plants - Constant scooting & market intelligence - Benchmark the best practices (internal & external) - Work collaboratively with our suppliers in order to improve their year on year Corporate Social Responsibility contribution. If you want to know more about L’Oréal, sourcing responsibilities or any information regarding FMCG & Food market or if you simply need some advises regarding you internships / first job orientation and location, university selection do not hesitate to contact me. Guillaume
