With 25 years of banking experience, I am currently in charge of supervising all departments linked to financing and advisory for large clients and projects as well as client coverage and credit analysis at Societe Generale, Asia Pacific. I also oversee sustainable finance and the shift of the bank portfolio towards a low carbon economy. My teams are dedicated to financing the real economy in various sectors : natural resources, energy, infrastructure, aircraft and shipping, real estate, utilities, financial sponsors, banks and insurance etc. They provide various types of products and services : structured and project finance and advisory, acquisition finance, securitization, debt capital markets, debt and equity advisory and M&A. As head of Global Banking & Advisory in Asia Pacific I routinely meet clients and project sponsors with my teams to understand client strategy and how Societe Generale financing and advisory services can support them. I discuss with my teams proposals to clients. I read credit analysis and validate credit risk taken by the bank on these clients/projects. I ensure that the policy of the bank are implemented in terms of credit and RSE. I supervise and manage large teams and am involved in recruitment and individuals professional development. In banking, a service industry, having good teams is the most important competitive advantage. After my studies at ESSEC business school, I spent all my career in banking moving from credit analyst to junior relationship manager and head of teams doing project and structured finance. I had a very international career working in Mexico, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Paris from which I was overseeing all EMEA including EU, UK, Africa and Russia. I am now based in Hong Kong in charge of one of Societe Generale business unit in Asia Pacific.
