Présentation de Pauline
Hello! 👋 I'm Pauline, Product Marketing Manager at Swimlane, a start-up specializing in cybersecurity based in the USA. I’m originally from France and hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in International Business from a top 10 French Business School. Over the years, I’ve held several roles in Marketing across companies of different sizes, including International Marketing, Communications, and Marketing Coordination. Marketing offers a wide variety of career paths, and I’m happy to share more details about my current role, career journey, or the field in general. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions! I’m usually available between 5-7 PM (France time), so let me know what works best for you, and we’ll set up a time to chat. Looking forward to speaking with you! Pauline On top of the classic answering emails and juggling Slack messages, my day is all about making things happen across three key areas: *Competitive Intelligence: Staying one step ahead by figuring out what our competitors are up to and finding ways to outshine them. *Sales Enablement: Arming the sales team with everything they need to win, from clever slides to strategies that make them say, “This is gold!” *Product Messaging & Positioning: Crafting stories and strategies that make our product impossible to ignore. I also love connecting with customers, sharing their success stories, and showing how we make a difference. Basically, if you’re into strategy, creativity, and collaboration, we should definitely chat! I have a Master’s in International Business with one clear goal: move to the USA. I started with an internship in the U.S., followed by a role in International Marketing. From there, I grew within the company—taking on roles like Marketing Coordinator and Marketing & Sales Development—before finally making the move to the USA as a Marketing Manager in Aviation. After that, I transitioned to a start-up, focusing on Marketing and Communications, and now I’m in a more advanced-stage start-up as a Product Marketing Manager. Topics I Can Share Insights On: *Moving to the USA What it’s really like to live and work in the U.S. as a French expat—challenges, tips, and things I wish I knew before making the move. *Product Marketing What a Product Marketing Manager actually does, how it fits into a company, and how it’s different from other marketing roles. *Different Jobs in Marketing Marketing isn’t just one job. I can share an overview of the different paths you can take and how to figure out what might suit you best. *Start-Up vs. Big Company I’ve worked in both and can tell you about the differences—how you work, what you learn, and what to expect. *Figuring Out Your Career Path If you don’t know what to specialize in during business school, you’re not alone. I can share my experience of finding my way over time.
