Hello, Veniran Apadana is the Iranian side of the Iran-Venezuela joint venture, Veniran, which is going to produce methanol with a capacity of 1,650,000 tons per year. The plant is located by the coasts of Persian Gulf near the beautiful city of Assaluyeh, called the Pars Especial Economic zone. The plant has the license of Swiss Casale and is engineered by Tecnimont KT of Italy and PIDEC of Iran. PIDMCO is the MC of the project and is responsible for supervising the engineering, procurement and construction of the plant. As the Lead Mechanical Engineer, I am responsible to work under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager of the project and with following brief job specification: -Review and approval of documents and drawings issued by project contractors -Review of vendor documents -Claim management -Vendor Evaluation -Expediting -coordination between Owner and contractor -Technical Bid Analysis -Vendor Shop visit -Risk Analysis And all of the above would happen in the mechanical and piping engineering disciplines.
