Finance executive with strong experience in both strategic and operational assignments: business controlling, debt structuring, M&A deals, performance improvements and lean accounting, Mr. Hugo Roitman worked mostly in sectors such as: food, agribusiness, technology and industry. Mr. Hugo Roitman started his career in investment banking (M&A and debt advisory) and then in leading multinationals, private equity-controlled companies and at top tier consulting firm. In addition to Brazil, Mr. Hugo Roitman has extensive international experience, worked in France, the United Kingdom, Argentina and Spain. Graduated in business management and accounting sciences in the UK and postgraduate in MSc. in Finance at a top 5 leading business school in France. Mr. Hugo Roitman mentors startups at Okara and Ace. Hugo is fluent in English, Spanish and French and has dual Brazilian and French citizenship. Below are the main skills and/or achievements: ● Leadership as CFO and controller of companies in growth or financial crisis; ● Identification and implementation of cost reduction and improvements (total amount of cost reduction of >R$ 10MM); ● Reorganization and training of the financial area (accounting, treasury, tax, HR, etc.) ● Conducting dozens of financial transactions (M&A, Joint-venture, Carve-out, etc.) ● Renegotiation of debt outside and within judicial recovery (total amount of renegotiated debt > R$ 300MM) Finally, Mr. Hugo Roitman loves cooking especially French and mediterranean foods, he is an active member of Toastmasters, an international organization promoting public speaking.
