Présentation de Xavier

Hello, Currently Chief of Translational Science for a Foundation for a rare epileptic disease, I am building a pre-competitive Consortium of several Pharma. to support the implementation of an observational study in this rare population. This will set the ground for future potential gene therapies to be develop for this rare patient population. In my previous job as chief of translational development, my work aimed at implementing the clinical drug development strategy for investigational drugs in neurodevelopment disorders. My missions were: - translating preclinical findings into relevant clinical assessments - developing the clinical development strategy, i.e. number of clinical trials needed, relevant study designs and assessments - building the expert network, in my current case, in autism, to identify the best clinical sites (US, EU) - building the dossier for submission to the health authorities, preparing the interactions wit the health authorities - presenting the strategy to internal and external stakeholders... After getting my PhD in Neuropsychology, I joined Roche (Switzerland) in the clinical pharmacology department, then moved to the Neuroscience early development department as clinical scientist, where I developed my expertise in neurodevelopment disorders (schizophrenia, Down syndrome, autism, CNS rare diseases) and paediatric drug development. After 8 years in this department, I joined Stalicla, a Swiss company developing personalized medicines in autism with a very innovative development strategy using disease modeling and systems biology technics to identify sub-populations with autisms. I am happy to share my personal experience in a big pharma., how I developed myself after academic research in a private environment. Xavier
