I work as Sales Manager at Werner Enterprises, one of the biggest trucking companies in North America that provides different transportation modes and solutions that adapt to customer needs. . My role focuses on research and identify potential customers from different manufacturing sectors and transportation service companies (3PL) to grow company portfolio offering our specialized transportation services. Evaluate and process RFPs & RFQs. Onboards new customers, ensuring a smooth transition. Grow load counts with current customers. Closing new business, completing sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, and presentation(s), start-up, and customer service follow-up after the sale. Engage and develop business partnerships with carriers. I studied International business in Mexico at La Salle University. Since I graduated I started working in logistics, developing commercial and operations knowledge on different transportation modes like air, rail and truck. I love my job because it allows me talking to people, learn from different industries and develop skills to adapt top constant change.
