Hello, I am a Business Intelligence manager, heading a small team of geeks who are passionate about helping people make decisions and operate better in their daily jobs. My duties include: - meeting with people across all levels of my company, to understand their needs in terms of data analysis - design dashboards, on my own or with my team - explore new data streams and identify insights potential for my co-workers - balance priorities and workload within the team - coach my team to develop their capabilities and keep them engaged I have mainly worked in China and New Zealand in the automotive industry in a corporate environment, on "expert technical" roles to answer often very simple questions: is this project profitable? Where should we open our next store ? I am now a leader in an environmental NGO, and going on an entrepreneurial path in the primary industry, for the good of the planet.
